OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Speedway will take part in this Saturday’s Toys for Tots Day of Sharing at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center located on East First Street as a part of the Best Western PLUS Captain’s Quarters hotel.

The popular holiday community event will run from noon to 6 p.m. with Santa arriving at 1:30 p.m.

Last year’s event raised enough to give back to 180 local families, helping to make their Christmas morning a little brighter.

There will be plenty of activities going on throughout the day including holiday arts and crafts, carolers, Christmas movies, story reading, face painting, a balloon artist, a wood working shop, air hops, cookies and milk, candy, and of course photos with Santa beginning at 2 p.m.

The Speedway will be on display throughout the afternoon with free sign-ups available for the 2013 Kids on Track program.

A record number of young race fans joined the program in 2012, taking advantage of exclusive weekly giveaways for KOT members including pencils, food and drinks, glow sticks, checkered flags, a T-shirt, and more.

Other special incentives include pace truck rides around the Speedway, track tours, and meet and greet sessions with drivers.

The Speedway display will also include one ‘Super Simulator,’ which recently debuted at the National Parts Peddler Trade Show.

Be sure to stop by and take 15-laps at the famed Oswego Speedway in a Supermodified.

Preliminary editions of the 2013 Oswego Speedway schedule will also be available.
