Oswego State Field Hockey Falls To William Smith 8-1

Head coach Brandi Ostrander and the Laker field hockey team was unable to overcome an early 4-0 deficit as they fell to non-conference William Smith 8-1 on Tuesday in Geneva. However, William Smith countered 27 seconds later with a Tempe Newson goal to take a 5-1 lead. The Herons tacked on three more goals before the end of the period for the 8-1 victory.
