MACEDON, N.Y. – The Oswego State men’s golf team improved on Saturday’s round by two strokes after posting a team score of 329 to finish with 660 total strokes at the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championships hosted by the par-72 Blue Heron Hills Country Club.
St. John Fisher took home the team trophy with a two-day total of 302-300–602, as well as medalist honors as Thad Weir III posted a two-round score of 74-72–146.
Dustin Farley (Jr., Utica, N.Y.) wound up tied for 11th with a score of 78-80–158 to pace the Lakers.
Kyle Brockmann (So., Fairport, N.Y.) posted a score of 81-83–164 to tie for 19th individually, while John Mackie (Jr., Bellport, N.Y.) shaved five strokes off of Friday’s score to tie for 25th at 87-82–169.
Nick Sterling (Sr., Gouverneur, N.Y.) fired a 88-84–172 to finish tied for 33rd followed by Dan North (Fr., Ilion, N.Y.), who was 36th at 174 after carding rounds of 85-89–174.
It was the last competition of the fall season for Oswego State, which will return to the links on April 7 at the Hershey (Pa.) Country Club.
