Oswego State Volleyball Falls To St. Lawrence and Clarkson

The Oswego State volleyball team dropped a pair of 3-0 matches to St. Lawrence and Clarkson on Saturday as part of the St. Lawrence Triangular. The Lakers fell to 4-16 overall as they open their home schedule on Tuesday against Keuka College at 7 p.m. in Oswego.

Oswego State lost to St. Lawrence by the scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-14 and Clarkson by the scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-15.

In the first match of the day, Katie van Kessel (So., Millbrook, N.Y.) recorded six kills and six digs to go along with two service aces, while Shauna Westrack (Fr., Nesconset, N.Y.) tallied 13 digs.

Against Clarkson, Jess Isgro (So., Brockport, N.Y.) paced the offense with six kills and added one service ace. Morgan Grimes (Fr., Cambridge, N.Y.) played well along the net as she posted three solo blocks. Westrack led the backrow defensive effort with 18 digs.
