Oswego State Volleyball Splits Action At Potsdam Invite

The Oswego State volleyball team split decisions in its two matches at the Potsdam Invitational falling to St. Lawrence 3-0 and defeating Hamilton 3-1.

The Lakers, who are 2-4 overall, lost to St. Lawrence 25-12, 25-21, 25-21 before defeating Hamilton 16-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-18.

In the first match of the day, Jess Isgro (So., Brockport, N.Y.) did it all for Oswego State as she amassed nine kills, seven digs, and two service aces. Alyssa Brock (Sr., Pine Bush, N.Y.) also contributed five kills and five digs, while Liz Crouch (Jr., Honeoye Falls, N.Y.) distributed 19 assists.

Isgro continued to play well in the nightcap as she reached double-digit kills and four service aces. Freshmen Stephany Olsheski (Brockport, N.Y.) and Kelsey Ihle (Clarence Center, N.Y.) saw significant action as Olsheski tallied 16 assists and three aces and Ihle recorded 11 digs and four service aces.
