Oswego State Women’s Basketball Drops First Game of New Year

POTSDAM N.Y. – Oswego State women’s basketball dropped its first game of the new year, falling 79-58 in an away contest against Clarkson.

With the loss, the Lakers go to 3-5 on the season.

Clarkson improves to 6-2.

Oswego was led by Heather Hebert who began the game hot, going 3-3 from the field during the first half.

The junior ended the game with 10 points and 11 rebounds, recording her third double-double of the season.

Rachel Windhausen also contributed, leading all Lakers with 15 points and was second to only Hebert in rebounds, fetching seven.

Lindsay Johnson aided the effort as well, scoring 11 on the night.

Women’s basketball returns to the court on at 2 p.m. on Sunday when it plays host to Nazareth College.
