OSWEGO, N.Y. – The accolades continued to roll in this week for Oswego State junior men’s basketball forward Chad Burridge, as the Hannibal, N.Y. native was selected as the ECAC Upstate Division III Player of the Week and named to the D3Hoops.com National Team of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Burridge averaged 20.3 points in a week that saw Oswego post a record of 2-1 and move into sole possession of first place in the SUNYAC standings. In a 75-73 double-overtime loss at Oneonta, Burridge scored 27 points on 55 percent shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. He posted another double-double in the Lakers’ 73-60 win over Potsdam with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Burridge ended the week with a 22-point performance against Plattsburgh in a 72-65 win.
Oswego State will put its 9-3 overall record and 5-1 conference record on the line this week when it travels to Geneseo and Brockport.
