Oswego Student Art Show This Weekend

OSWEGO, NY – The talents of Oswego City School District student artists will be on display this weekend at the Art Association of Oswego.

The annual exhibition of art work will commence on Friday at 6:30 p.m. with the gallery remaining open for two hours.

Artwork from every school in the Oswego City School District will be on display.

There are also special events.

On Saturday there will be a Raku Pottery firing demonstration by Billie Joe Peterson at noon with the gallery open from noon to 5 p.m.

Sunday, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. visitors are invited to make friendship pins or weave bracelets with yarn and beads with Linda Shannon and Crystal Mason.

Also on Sunday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. there will be face painting with Melissa Martin and Laurie Yule.

The gallery will be open from 2 to 5 p.m.
