OSWEGO, NY – At 8:30 a.m. Thursday, deputies charged a 15-year-old boy residing in the city of Oswego with Juvenile Delinquency for crimes, if committed by an adult, would constitute the charges of three counts second-degree burglary, a class C felony and third-degree burglary, a class D felony.
The teen was charged for his alleged participation in the breaking in of residences in the Town of Oswego during the months of March and April 2012 where a rifle was stolen along with electronics, sports equipment and consumables.
He was also charged with Juvenile Delinquency for a crime, if committed by an adult, would constitute the charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a class A misdemeanor.
That charge stems from him allegedly taking a vehicle from a residence in the town of Scriba on April 1.
The teen, charged with Juvenile Delinquency for a crime, if committed by an adult, would constitute the charge of petit larceny for which he allegedly broke into a vehicle in the Town of Minetto and stole items.
The boy and his parent were issued Juvenile Appearance tickets directing them to contact the Oswego County Probation Department.
