OSWEGO TOWN, NY – On November 10, everyone is invited to join in on the Oswego Town’s annual Veterans’ Day program which begins with a delightful breakfast at the Oswego Center United Methodist Church and then concludes with the Oswego Town Historical Society’s Veterans Day program to be held next door at the Oswego Town Hall.
The breakfast, being held in the Oswego Center United Methodist Church Hall, begins at 8 a.m.
Breakfast will include eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage and home fries for only a mere $6 for all you can eat.
Then at 10 a.m., the Oswego Town Historical Society invites everyone next door for its annual Veterans’ Day program.
World War II veteran Leo Malone, an Oswego Town resident, will be the guest speaker.
Malone, who served on the European front, will be sharing some stories about the war and showing some of his artifacts and memorabilia.
The Oswego Town archives will also display items pertaining to the program.
All living Oswego Town veterans will be honored at the event.
The public is cordially invited to attend the breakfast and then to join the Oswego Town Historical Society in paying tribute to our veterans.
