Oswego Town Volunteer Fire Department Open House Slated

OSWEGO TOWN – The Oswego Town Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual open house, during Fire Safety week, on October 13 between 6-8 p.m. at the station, 640 County Route 7.

Children and adults can try on firefighter gear, tour the fire station, explore the fire equipment and meet the firefighters.

Fire safety information will be available to children.

This year, we will also have impairment awareness activities and the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department is offering free-of-charge, firearm safety kits to gun owners at the open house.

Should the Sheriff’s Department have its ID processor available, IDs can be made for children.

Seasonal refreshments will be served.

Come out and support your volunteer fire department.
