OSWEGO, NY â€“ A westside Oswego woman is in jail after police say she used a kitchen knife to threaten a man.
At about 10:52 p.m. Tuesday, Oswego police responded to 200 W. First St. regarding a disturbance.
Upon arrival and initial investigation, officers determined that 50-year-old Susan A. Clemons of 200 W. First St., Apartment 1, had threatened an adult man with a kitchen knife.
According to the victim, he and Clemons had been involved in a verbal argument.
Itâ€™s alleged that as the victim tried to leave in his car, Clemons attempted to stab the victim through the carâ€™s open window.
Clemons was arrested at the scene and transported to the Oswego City Police
She was arraigned today (June 16) in Oswego City Court on charges of:
- Second-degree menacing (Class A misdemeanor)
- Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon (Class D felony).
Upon arraignment, Clemons was remanded to Oswego County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
She is to return to court on July 13.
