Oswego YMCA Says Thank You To Teachers

OSWEGO, NY – The week of Monday, May 8 through 12 is Teacher Appreciation week.

As a thank you to our local teachers, the Oswego YMCA is offering a free week at the Y.

Teachers can stop by the Oswego YMCA to try a class or workout in our fitness facility anytime during Teacher Appreciation Week.

This try the Y is opened to all teachers in our community.

Teachers play a critical role in educating and shaping our children: the future leaders of our country.

They are kind, patient, hard-working, dedicated and understanding professionals that mold our children’s lives in a positive direction.

We entrust our children with the teachers, and they affect their lives on a daily basis.

We at the Oswego YMCA want to say thank you to all of our teachers.

If a teacher joins the YMCA this week, we will waive the join fee – that is a $25 savings.

As a reminder there is also a YMCA discount for all OCTA members.

The Y is one of the nation’s leading nonprofits strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

With more than 1,600 members, one in nine people living in the Oswego community is a member of Oswego YMCA.
