Oswego YMCA to Launch New Indoor Cycling Program With Innovative Cycles

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego YMCA is excited to announce the addition of 15 new Keiser M Series indoor cycles this fall.

The introduction of these innovative indoor cycles will deliver a superior ride for Y members that feel just like an actual road bike.

The unique feature of the Keiser M Series bike includes the on bike computer.

A powerful tool, the computer is designed to provide immediate feedback to the rider as well as track on-going improvement.

YMCA members will now be able to monitor RPM (cadence), power output, resistances and heart rate.

“The bike computer is a positive, motivating tool,” said Trish Levine, director of health and wellness at the Oswego and Fulton YMCAs. “Riders are more engaged in their workout and it challenges riders to work more efficiently and effectively improving their overall fitness.”

This latest investment of new fitness equipment for Oswego Y members is part of the ongoing effort to strengthen community and follows the recent improvements to the soon to be re-opened pool.

The Oswego YMCA offers memberships for families, adults, seniors, senior couples, high school students and youth.

For those who may have difficulty paying the membership rates, the Y offers Membership for All, which ensures that nobody is ever turned away because of their financial background.
