FULTON – Thanks to a generous contribution of $10,000 from Oswego Health, special events in Fulton this year will be even bigger and better; the announcement made by  Fulton Special Events Committee (SEC) Chair Caroline Shue. Oswego Health is SEC’s official healthcare partner and will be the naming sponsor for the 2023 Community Market and Fall Festival, also supporting the 2023 City of Fulton Christmas Tree Lighting.

“Oswego Health’s partnering with the Special Events Committee not only shows their support of our mission – to bring the community together by providing quality events and experiences for all ages – but also shows their desire to build strong relationships within the Fulton community,” Shue said.

“The Special Events Committee is overwhelmed by the generosity of Oswego Health,” SEC Fundraising Chair Marissa Hanlon said. “Oswego Health will also be a major sponsor for this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting! We were able to start our partnership last year, and are overjoyed that we are growing our relationship this year. The collaborative efforts between Oswego Health and the Special Events Committee are opportunistic for the City of Fulton as it continues the efforts of creating a vibrant, active and healthy community.  These events provide activities in Fulton that bring our community together while promoting tourism and increase commerce for local business,” Hanlon continued.

“The Special Events Committee set out to bring a full lineup of enhanced events this year and with the Oswego Health sponsorship and the support of Fulton Parks and Recreation, we know we will be able to accomplish that goal! As one of our community’s healthcare and business leaders that is taking initiatives to make our community healthier, we are proud to accept this investment donation into our city where all are welcome to visit, live and enjoy Fulton. “

“At Oswego Health, we care. It’s a mantra that all 1200 of our employees believe in,” Oswego Health Senior Vice President of Communications and Chief Brand Officer Jamie Leszczynski said. “Simply put, we care about making connections. We care about collaboration. And most importantly, we care about this community, because it’s our community, and we take pride in ensuring the health and wellness of its residents. So, to help support the transformation of the City of Fulton and enhance the already award-winning special events was an easy decision. These events instill community pride and Oswego Health is just proud to be a part of it all.”
