Participants in Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program learned about Australia as part of Outback Week.

Each week throughout the summer features games and activities related to that week’s theme.

During Outback Week youth decorated plates and bags with Aboriginal symbols, created Koala masks, played Australian games including cricket, jumpin’ pin and more.

The CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program is offered free of charge to children in grades 2 through 8 in Oswego County and is held Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For more information on the program contact CYO program coordinator Stacie Roberts at 315-598-3980, ext. 254.
