BREWERTON, NY – October 3, 2012 – After discussions between speedway staff and some of the Four Cylinder competitors who were qualified for the September 28th show at the Fulton Speedway, the decision has been made to postpone the Thursday, October 4th show at the Brewerton Speedway to the opening day of the 2013 season at the Brewerton Speedway.
“This week, we’ve received many calls from teams expressing their concerns. There are teams that cannot make it back being a mid-week or that have other commitments. The best answer for this event is to push it to the opener next year,” said Harvey Fink promoter of the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways.
The Four-cylinders will have Double features that day. The Holdover feature will be held along with a complete additional program.
All drivers present on September 28, 2012 and scheduled to start will receive two complementary pit admissions for opening day, as well.
The staff and management at Fulton and Brewerton apologize to the teams that supported this event and wish the circumstances had been different.
