OSWEGO, NY – The community is invited to learn more about Oswego’s newest sport when the Oz Roller Girls host an open house at 7 p.m. Nov. 6.

Attendees can meet members of the Oz Roller Girls – who were 10-2 in their debut season, see roller derby demonstrations and learn more about the fast-paced sport.

The event, free and open to the public, will take place in the Oz-Zone, the former Real Deals store, in Oswego’s Midtown Plaza.

In addition, visitors interested in getting involved can learn more about how to be part of roller derby in any number of roles, including skaters, referees, non-skating officials and other volunteer positions.
