Parents of Special Children, Inc., presents its annual Jamboree Chicken BBQ fundraiser, to be held on May 17, from noon until 4 p.m. at the Hannibal American Legion Post 1552.
The family event will include a chicken barbecue, door prizes, raffles, a delicious bake sale and music by Proctor Entertainment and Event Services.
There will also be crafts and fun activities lasting throughout the afternoon.
Proceeds from the event will support the agency’s programming and continuation of family functions, such as: Breakfast with Santa, bowling parties, ice cream socials, trainings and their sports/recreation programs.
“The Jamboree is a tradition for the families we serve, along with the members of our community,” said board president Monica Stoutenger. “It’s a great opportunity for everyone to come together in an inviting, fun and entertaining environment.”
Event tickets are $10 presale and $12 at the door.
Advanced discounted tickets can be purchased at the PSC office, 2 Tower Drive, Fulton, Monday – Friday, (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.).
Tickets for a special raffle of an elliptical machine, valued at more than $500, can also be purchased now through the event.
The winner will be drawn at the BBQ and you need not be present to win.
PSC is a non-profit community agency that serves individuals with developmental disabilities in Oswego County.
