Parents of Special Children Hosts 2016 Jamboree

HANNIBAL – Parents of Special Children, Inc., will present its annual Jamboree Chicken BBQ fundraiser, on June 4, from noon until 3 p.m., at the Hannibal American Legion Post 1552.

The family event will include a chicken barbecue, door prizes, raffles, a delicious bake sale and entertainment by SHOtime Music.

New this year, will be carnival themed games and delicious snow cones.

Proceeds from the event will support the agency’s programming and continuation of family functions, such as: Breakfast with Santa, bowling parties, ice cream socials, Backyard BBQ & Family Festival, trainings and their sports/recreation programs.

“The jamboree is a tradition for the families we serve, along with the members of our community,” said board president Monica Rupert.  “It’s a great opportunity for everyone to come together in an inviting, fun and entertaining environment.”

Event tickets are $10 presale and $12 at the door.

Advanced discounted tickets can be purchased at the PSC office at 2 Tower Drive, Fulton, Monday – Friday (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) now through June 3.

PSC is a non-profit community agency that serves individuals with developmental disabilities in Oswego County.

PSC is dedicated to family empowerment and mutual support.
