Paul L. Fountaine, Sr., 58 of Fulton, died Tuesday at home.
Born in Syracuse he was a life resident of Fulton.
Paul previously worked at Port City Ford in Oswego as a mechanic.
Paul had previously raced street stock cars at Fulton, Brewerton and Weedsport Speedways. He was an avid bowler and was on many leagues at Lakeview Lanes in Fulton and Green Acres Lanes in Central Square. An avid outdoorsman, Paul loved to hunt and fish.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward J. Fountaine, Sr. and the former Erma L. Belthazard; a brother, Edward J. Fountaine, Jr.; Surviving: children, Paula L. (Howard) Colvin of Oswego, Paul L. (Andrea) Fountaine, Jr. of Fulton and Christopher M. (Tammy) Fountaine of Hannibal; former wife, Kathy Humphrey of Fulton; a sister, Deborah Kenyon of Mexico; brothers, Robert and Kenneth Fountaine both of Oswego; 10 grandchildren, Billy, Shiela, Kyle, Todd, Courtney, Tyler, Christopher, Jr., Colby, Asa, Kaylee; one great-grandson, Justin; several nieces nephews and cousins.
Calling hours are Monday, 12 noon to 2 p.m. with a 2 p.m. service at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Burial will be at Vermillion Cemetery, New Haven.
