OSWEGO, NY – Just in time for the Warm Up Oswego Festival, the work of Mattydale resident, Cathy Pence, will be featured at Lakeside Artisans for the month of February.
After she and her husband sold their business in Syracuse, Pence started classes in stained glass.
Eventually, her hobby turned into a business.
Pence also shows her work at many Central New York festivals, including Art Mart in
Pence has donated a stained glass piece to raffle off as a door prize on Feb. 29.
She will be available to Lakeside Artisan customers for questions and discussion of her work for the Warm Up Oswego Festival from 3 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 4.
Also, for the festival there will be a special drawing for a door prize donated by Cynthia Schmidt, creator of the Cranky Cat Collection.
The drawing will take place on Feb. 4 at 7 p.m.
Lakeside Artisans, an artists’ co-op, carries the work of 16 local artists and
artisans, from framed paintings and prints to jewelry, ceramics, rustic furniture,
fabric vases and stained glass.
In addition, Lakeside Artisans carries a selection of paints, brushes, paper, canvas and other art supplies.
Lakeside Artisans is located at 191 W. First St., in Canal Commons.
