Pennellville Man Arrested For DWI After Motorcycle Crash

On April 23, at 1:49 a.m., State Police responded to County Route 10 in the town of Schroeppel for a report of a motorcycle accident.

When troopers arrived they located a 2012 Suzuki motorcycle on the west shoulder of the roadway however the operator left the scene, police said.

Troopers responded to the owner’s residence, 681 County Route 10 in Pennellville and located the driver Robert L. Keller III, 29, bleeding from a head injury, according to the report.

He was transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

On April 24, Keller was released from the hospital and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a class “E” felony (due to previous convictions within 10 years) and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree, a class “E” felony.

Keller was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Schroeppel Court on May 4 at 5:30 p.m.
