FULTON, NY – Peter Kaminuk, 79, of Fulton, died Friday, June 6, 2008, at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton, after a long illness.
He was a lifetime resident of the area.
He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, and a member of the Syracuse and Fulton Ukrainian clubs.
He was a member of the Fulton Polish American Club, and the Fish and Game Club.
Peter enjoyed fishing and he was locally known for his Russian dancing as well as his golden glove boxing.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Kaminuk; and his brother, Paul.
Peter is survived by his wife of 25 years, Rebecca Kaminuk of Fulton; five stepchildren, Mary, Richard, Steve, Dave, Char and Mary Jane; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his niece, Tanya Parrow of Fulton; and cousins, Myron and Olga Hyrenczk of Fulton.
Funeral services will be conducted 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, and 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church where Rev. Stephen Wirkes will celebrate a mass of Christian Burial.
Burial will be in St. MaryÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Cemetery, Fulton.
There will be no calling hours.
