OSWEGO – It’s a Husky! His name is Charlie and he is looking for a new family. This guy was made for the winter and loves bounding through snowbanks.
Charlie is looking for adventure! He loves to go for car rides and prefers to sit in the back seat. He does great in new places and meeting strangers is his favorite. Everyone is a friend to Charlie!
Charlie is crate-trained and feels his crate is his safest space. He does quietly sing a Husky tune every now and then but he’s not much into yodeling.
His enthusiasm is why he pulls a bit on leash with collar or harness. He loves being brushed but can be a little fidgety during nail trims.
Charlie is very cat-savvy and gets along well with other dogs. He’s gentle and careful enough to be around young children, and he loves to rough-house play with the big kids (and big kids at heart).
Charlie has an epilepsy disorder that is easily managed with medications. To prevent seizures for Charlie, it is most important that he is given his medications on time, twice daily. His medications can be prescribed by any veterinarian’s office and filled through any pharmacy.
Charlie is about 8 years old, neutered and up-to-date with vaccinations. His adoption fee is waived due to his age and medical condition.
If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application at tinyurl.com/oswego-humane-app; OR if you might even consider becoming a temporary foster caregiver, we would be excited (and pay all the bills!). You can email your completed application and any questions to [email protected]!
