Merida: Pet of the Week

OSWEGO – Merida has a spirit as wild as a wisp, and we love her for it. Merida is a very sweet girl and it will just take some patience and time for her to feel at home anywhere new. She can be quite chatty and chirpy once she feels settled.

Merida has many hobbies! She is an avid birder and loves sitting in windows, especially if there are bird feeders around. She likes to play with springs, jingle balls and brown paper. Her favorite place is a cardboard “fort” but will come right back out for a feather toy on a wand.

She would love a home full of other cats and even a dog or two. Merida is a tough young lass who loves to wrestle and tumble with her cat foster siblings. She enjoys tormenting the big dog, but she’s just as content to play by herself too.

Merida is not yet a lap cat, but she’s been known to jump into bed for pets in the morning. She likes to sleep in a high walled bed, on a cat shelf or in the back of a dark closet. Merida has very polite feline manners; she doesn’t claw the furniture, only cardboard scratchers on the floor.

Merida is 1 year old, spayed and vaccinated. She is indoor only and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $75.
