Air Force Airman 1st Class Zachary K. Taillie recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is currently assigned to Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi where he is completing tech school. He is a member of the Air National Guard.
Airman Zachary Taillie is the son of Deborah Northrop of Liverpool and David Taillie of Phoenix.
Zachary Taillie is a 2008 graduate of John C. Birdlebough High School, Phoenix, N.Y.
Upon completion of training, Taillie will be starting college at Cortland State, studying Kinesiology, with the intent of becoming a strength and conditioning coach for a college football team. While in college, Taillie will be playing football for Cortland State
