FULTON, NY – Phyllis M. Walts, 81, formerly of Fulton, passed away peacefully on Friday May 26, 2017, at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego, NY.
She was born in Pooleville, NY, to the late Glenn and Marion (Salsbury) Goff.
Mrs. Walts was a longtime resident of Phoenix, NY.
She was a homemaker and active volunteer knitting and crocheting blankets for several cancer patients and taking shifts at the gift shop that was available for the Michaud Nursing Home and A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital visitors and residents.
Mrs. Walts was predeceased by her husband, Edward Walts; two sisters: Patricia Walts and Louella Beaman; and her son-in-law, Richard Arden.
Mrs. Walts is survived by her children: Glenda Arden of Fulton and James Walts of New Haven, NY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
There will be no funeral service.
Burial will be held privately.
