OSWEGO – Bobby Fontana, director of the opening production of the 2016 season of the Oswego Players, has announced his cast.
Teaming up will be the father-son duo of Wayne and Richard Mosher in the drama, “Tuesdays With Morrie.”
Taking on the role of the title character, Morrie Schwartz will be Wayne Mosher.
Both an actor and director, Mosher has been seen in a number of Players’ production over the years.
In the role of Mitch Albom is Richard Mosher.
Also an actor and director, he was last seen on stage in “Of Mice and Men” and directed the successful musical “The Last Five Years” for the Players in 2015.
“Tuesdays With Morrie” tells the story of Mitch Albom, an accomplished journalist who learns his former college professor, Morrie Schwartz is dying of Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
The play, adapted from Albom’s book, “Tuesdays With Morrie” by the author, is a moving account of their weekly conversations.
The play will be performed on the stage of the Frances Marion Brown Theater in the Oswego Civic Arts Center on March 4, 5, 11, 12 at 8 p.m. and March 13 at 2 p.m.
