Police: Car Speed Was About 81 mph Prior To Fatal Crash

OSWEGO, NY – The New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit has released the results of its preliminary investigation.

Tire mark evidence at the scene indicates the 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, operated by Robert L. Senke at the time of the accident, was travelling at approximately 81mph when it lost control on the curve near the Oswego Speedway on Tuesday night, according to the report.

The survivors of the crash Donald M. Odin and Jeremy W. Tassie have both been released from the hospital.
