State Police this week closed their investigation into a burglary at a town of Granby auto sales business that happened last August.

State Police say someone went into the sales office at GT Auto Sales, at 1868 Route 3 in Granby, sometime during the night of August 30, 2010 or the early morning of the next day.

Several sets of keys and license plates were stolen. Three cars were also stolen. The cars were found within a week.

State Police say they identified Brandon R. Ouderkirk, 26, as their suspect. But they couldn’t find him.

Police say they figured out his cell phone number and got him on the phone once, but he refused to answer questions.

Investigators kept looking for Ouderkirk and say they learned that he had been living at 42 Ontario St. in Oswego for the past few weeks.

Sunday, they moved in and arrested him. He’s charged with burglary, but more felony charges are likely.

Ouderkirk is in the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail.
