Police Log: Fulton PD: Week of May 31, 2011


Christopher H. Naylor, 63, of 263 W. Second St., Fulton, was charged May 31 with DWI, no signal and improper right turn. Police allege that they stopped Naylor after Naylor turned onto W. First St. without using a turn signal. The arresting officer reported that he smelled alcohol. He alleged that Naylor admitted drinking 5 beers at a local bar. He allegedly failed a field sobriety test.

Chad M. Crouse, 27, of 89 Taplan Dr., Fulton was charged May 31 with four counts of criminal contempt for allegedly violating orders to stay away from a woman.

Hope A. Whitby, 19, of 302 County Route 85, Fulton was arrested May 31 on a bench warrant from Fulton City Court alleging failure to appear as ordered.

Daniel Pratts, Jr., 22, of 223 Wilcox Rd., Fulton was arrested May 31 on a bench warrant from Fulton City Court alleging failure to appear as ordered.

Joseph E. Williams, Jr., 36, of 702 State Route 176, Fulton was arrested May 31 on a bench warrant from Fulton City Court alleging failure to appear as ordered.

Christopher J. Swatkowski, 37, of 415 Chestnut St., Fulton was charged with petit larceny and making a false punishable written statement. Police allege that on May 21, Swatkowski bought a gazebo at the Oswego Price Chopper worth $95.99. The next day, police allege he returned an older and different gazebo to the Price Chopper, claiming it was the one he had bought the day before. He received a refund for his purchase. At the police station, police allege Swatkowski admitted that some parts of his initial written statement were false.

Jason M. Puma, 26, of 488 Red Schoolhouse Rd., Fulton was charged June 1 with marijuana possession and criminal possession of a weapon. Police allege they found more than three pounds of marijuana in his home, along with a weapon known as a throwing star.

Ryan J. A. Brown, 23, of 363 W. Third St., Fulton was charged June 2 with aggravated unlicensed operator and unlicensed operator of a motor vehicle after a traffic stop in the 100 block of E. Broadway.

Antonio P. Lebron, 19, of 409 Seneca St., Fulton was charged June 3 with possession of alcohol while less than 21 years old. Police allege they found an open 30-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon in the back seat of the car Lebron was in.

Howard L. Stoltz, II, 45, of 351 S. Fourth St., Apt. 1, Fulton was charged June 3 with aggravated unlicensed operator and unlicensed operator for allegedly driving while his licensed had been suspended ten times for failing to answer several charges dating to 2009.

Sandra A. Netzloff, 33, of 337 Rathburn Rd., Fulton was charged June 3 with reckless endangerment for allegedly driving her car at a person with whom she had been arguing. Police say the man had to move to avoid being hit by the car.

Kimberly M. Bartlett, 49, of 1100 Emery St., Apt. 308, Fulton, was charged June 3 with disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling obscenities across the courtyard of an apartment complex.

Latosha L. Smiley, 23, of 402 Worth St., Fulton was charged June 4 with disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling obscenities while on the 300 block of Erie St.

Russell G. Bardin, Jr., 31, of 313 Erie St., Fulton was arrested June 4 on a warrant alleging failure to appear in court on a charge of possessing a hypodermic instrument.

James O. Williams, Jr., 32, of 1100 Emery St., Apt. 304, Fulton was charged June 5 with forgery for allegedly altering a physician’s prescription from Mobic, 7.5 mg, to Oxycodone, 500 mg, and attempting to fill the prescription at the Medicine Place.

Rebecca L. Crandall, 27, of 40 Phillips Rd., Hannibal was arrested June 5 on a warrant issued by Syracuse City Court alleging possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a forged instrument and falsifying business records.
