Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C–Pulaski) presented an Assembly resolution to Daldrop SBB, a subsidiary of the Daldrop Group, recognizing the company’s significant investment in Oswego County. The expansion strengthens the Daldrop Group’s leadership in cleanroom manufacturing and highlights its continued commitment to innovation in the pharmaceutical sector, while supporting Oswego County’s ongoing economic growth.
?In April, the company broke ground on a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the L. Michael Treadwell Oswego County Industrial Park in Schroeppel. This facility represents the company’s largest expansion outside of Germany in its 75-year history and will create employment opportunities for local laborers, technicians and engineers throughout Oswego County. To support this growth, partnerships with BOCES and Train Develop Optimize (TDO) will provide workforce training and development programs to ensure Oswego County residents are prepared to step into these opportunities.
?The project is part of a growing high-tech manufacturing sector in Oswego County. Additionally, the Oswego County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) recently received $8.1 million through Empire State Development’s FAST NY Shovel-Ready Grant program. These funds will be used to build out industrial park infrastructure, including power, gas and telecommunications, helping to attract additional investment to the area.
?“Daldrop’s investment strengthens our local economy and highlights the region’s growing role in advanced manufacturing,” said Leader Barclay. “It’s encouraging to see companies like this commit to our community, bringing innovation and long-term opportunities that benefit both workers and local businesses.”
?“We’re thrilled to welcome Daldrop to Oswego County,” said Austin Wheelock, CEO of the Oswego County Industrial Development Agency. “This new facility represents a significant investment in our region, providing stability and opportunity for residents while attracting additional investment to the area. Partnerships like this are what drive long-term growth and help our community thrive.”
“Our company is proud to be investing in Oswego County and bringing our experience and expert product manufacturing legacy to Central New York. We’d like to thank Leader Barclay for this recognition today. We are eager to open the doors,” said Benjamin Morrow, operations manager, Daldrop SBB.
