“It’s called Pork in the Parking Lot because we plan to take advantage of the concert set up Lighthouse Lanes has using their north parking lot,” chamber events manager Lisa Gray explained.

Long Time Coming, a group of local musicians, will be donating their time to entertain during the event.

Along with the entertainment, there will be door prize drawings, raffles and a lottery ticket board, with all the proceeds going toward the 50th Annual Oswego Independence Parade.

“We are trying to raise funds to bring in a Mummer’s String Band from Philadelphia,” Gray said. “It’s been quite a while since we have had them here and it seemed like a great way to mark this special year.”

Advanced sale tickets for the pulled pork dinner are $8 and are available now at the chamber office, 44 E. Bridge St.

Tickets for children aged 10 and under are $6. The day of the event, tickets at the door will be $10.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.oswegofultonchamber.com
