The New Hope Presbyterian Church will host another “Parish Community Blood Drive” at the Parish Fire Station, 16 Union St. on Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On October 7, starting at 1 p.m., the Parish Public Library through the North Country Library System will be offering a beginners class in basic Excel spreadsheet formatting.

Topics covered include: parts of the spreadsheet, creating basic charts and working with simple formulas.

Bring your own computer (Wi-fi at the library) or you are welcome the use of the public computers at the library.

This class is offered free of cost to all participants.

This is another project of your library at work in the community.

People can rent Laser Tag Adventures to come to their location for parties, events or fundraisers.
