Positively Parish News – Week of 09/27/2013

More than 70 APW Rebel alumni live in the Carolinas and on August 17, 16 of them and their spouses or guests got together at Duckworth’s Grill and Taphouse in Huntersville, NC, to renew friendships and have fun!

They even chartered a new branch of the APW alumni association: the APW Rebels of the Carolinas!

In addition to food and fun, parting gifts that made everyone long for home were shared: NYS Maple Syrup, Maple sugar candy, Oswego County-produced Apple Butter and Grandma Brown’s Baked Beans!

Who came?

Alumni in attendance were: Marilyn Wood and her parents, Carl and Jean Horning Wood; Jan Maynard; Janine Boyer Barber and husband Tom Barber; Terry Comstock LaSalle and husband Darryll LaSalle; Michael Price; Pat Rupracht Shutts and husband Ron Shutts; Becky Clarke; Fran King Covey; Terry Cusson; Chris Dale; Sarah Monkman Blasi; Colleen Perry Keith; Shelly Parker Wright; and Nancy House Booth.

Special thanks to Nancy House Booth, the manager of the Duckworth’s location who made it so that the group were seated together.

If you know of any APW alumni in North or South Carolina and want to be sure they are on the “list,” be sure to share that information with Colleen Perry Keith at [email protected]

They do plan to have another reunion!

Jan Morse went out to dinner with her daughter, Jennifer Morse; future daughter-in-law Jaime Egon and her mother Lorrie Egon; Mary Buck; Erin Barger; Jennifer Cericdo and daughter-in-law Erin Dupree. This was part of Jaime’s bachelorette party.

Jaime will be marrying Wayne Morse, son of Dennis and Jan Morse, on October 5, 2013.

They all had a fantastic time.
