Positively Parish News – Week of May 18, 2013

Get well wishes are extended to David DeGraw, Haiden Fullmer, MargiBeth Miller, John Piseski and Celene Schuder.

My condolences are extended to the family and friends of Rebecca LaRobardiere and Richard J Yerdon.

The Parish Community Yard Sale will be held on May 25.  You may call Chriss Sackett at 625-4169 to get placed on the map.

Jan Morse and Erin Dupree took Vanessa Dupree and Zory Ana Dupree and Hollie Lucer to the Shrine Circus.

They all had a great time and the girls all had their faces painted.

Just a couple things I heard through the grapevine this week!

Welcome back to Jim and Deb Jennings.  I hear they are out walking on a regular basis!

And I also heard that congratulations are in order for Dave and Melanie Chapman, they have become proud grandparents of twins!!  Kudos!!

“Attention Parish area people in Florida”

Due to health issues, I am no longer able to coordinate the Parish picnic each spring in Zephyrhills.

“Come on you volunteers”

If interested, please send me an e-mail or call me on (813) 782-1008 by May 31.

If no one volunteers, I need your suggestions as to what I should do with the materials I have on file I.e.: picture albums, yearly death lists, miscellaneous articles about the Parish area, etc.

Perhaps, we should turn these in to the Parish library.

I also have $ 80 in the picnic treasury.

Should I donate this to the Parish Cemetery?

Please let me know your wishes on this subject ASAP.  If no feed back, I will send the money to the cemetery and bring the books up to the library in July/August.

Thanks John Piseski dated 5/12/2013.

The Parish Village and Town Clean Up Day is set for June 8 from7:30 – 11 a.m. held on Dill Pickle Alley.
