Pryor, who first received his property and casualty insurance license in 2011, has spent parts of four decades in the automobile sales, finance and insurance management positions for Shapiro Chrysler, Tucker Oldsmobile and Burritt Chevrolet.

Nelson said, “with Steve being involved in customer related sales in this community since the early 1980s, he is a great fit for what our office has stood for since it was established almost two decades ago.”

Pryor added, “I was very interested in joining Chris Nelson’s agency, not because of my property and casualty background, but because I wanted to develop a strong local presence for the State Farm Bank brand which has offered automobile interest rates nearly three quarters of a point lower than any regular rates I had access to in the automobile business and I know that there is a place for new and used auto loans and refinancing with State Farm Bank for the thousands of customers that Chris and I have done business with.”

Pryor has recently completed State Farm Banking courses, received his Notary Public commission and renewed his property and casualty license. He looks forward to being a new team member for Chris Nelson Insurance at their recently renovated new office complex at 209 W. Seventh St. in Oswego.
