PULASKI, NY – Carolyn Handville, coordinator of the Oswego County Opportunities’ Cancer Services Program Partnership (kneeling at right) meets with the staff of the Pulaski Health Center to finalize the details regarding a special event in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Cancer Services Program has partnered with Oswego Health and the Pulaski Health Center to offer free on-site clinical breast exams and mammograms.
On October 25 representatives from Oswego Health will be performing the exams at the Pulaski Health Center, at 61 Delano St., from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
The free clinical breast exams and mammograms are part of the Cancer Services ‘Human Pink Ribbon’ ceremony that will be taking place at the Pulaski Health center beginning at 9 a.m. that day.
The ceremony will offer free refreshments, raffle prizes and a bake sale.
In addition, representatives from other human service and health related agencies will be on-site to share their program information and handouts to you.
“Get your “Pink On” and join us for a fun filled few hours of snacks, free raffles, great healthcare information and good company,” said Handville.
The ceremony will culminate with the making of CSP’s fifth annual human pink ribbon.
