PULASKI – The Pulaski Historical Society invites you to join them for something different for lunch one day a month.
On Aug. 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., you are invited to bring your lunch (or pick up some take-out at a local eatery) and come join us in the Carriage House at the Pulaski Historical Society.
Take time to talk with your coworkers and neighbors and perhaps make new friends.
Coffee, tea, water or soda will be provided.
For our August Brown Bag Lunch, Bernadette Fernan Eickhoff will share Bernie Fernan’s journals on building the Fernan house on Lake Street.
The names of the builders will be familiar to many and some of the “up-to-date” appliances will be of interest.
On display will be our House History notebooks and the Peach – Thomas photo scrapbook.
The Pulaski Historical Society is located at 3428 Maple Ave., across from Mavis Tire/Cole Muffler in the village.
The museum is open in August from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m on Saturdays.
Volunteers are available to help with research and questions at the regular work sessions on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
