Pulaski Historical Society To Host Student Club

PULASKI, NY – The Pulaski Historical Society will host the Pulaski Academy and Central School History Club at its September 24 meeting at 7 p.m.

The meeting is free and open to the public.

The History Club will present the program “The PACS History Club: Past, Present and Future.”

The students will discuss their Community Heritage Project which involves mapping and using GPS coordinates of the historic buildings around Pulaski.

“We plan on furthering our project by teaching others to do what we did and show them how we did it. Also, to teach them about the history of the community and how important it is,” a club spokesperson said.

The student presenters include Krissy Forestiere, Edward Sheats, Kaylyn Slattery, Nicholas Visco and C. J. Wood.

The Pulaski Historical Society is located at 3428 Maple Ave., across from Cole Muffler/Brake.

The museum is open in September on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There are regular work sessions on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
