Politcal correctness is running amok. There have been many students with Indian heritage that have wlaked the halls of G. Ray Bodley and have taken great pride in the Indian mascot and what it represents. The mascot has always been dignified and presented with reverence. It is a symbol of proud people, of a proud people. A symbol that represents a proud people that protect that which they hold dear and that is what alumni and students must do now to protect what we hold dear.

I had great pride in the mascot during my school years on and off the fields of play.

Red Raider alumni need to unite and fight this nonsensicle politcal correctness.
