Raymond H. Auringer, 69, of Hannibal died Tuesday at home.
Born in Parish to the late Andrew and Mamie Auringer he was a 2 year resident of Hannibal previously living in Tennessee. Raymond was a boat mechanic for 5 years at Anchors Marina in Sodus. He was a select member of Disabled American Veterans. Raymond was a member of many organizations including AARP, Black Horse and the American Legion and VFW in both Red Creek. Raymond was an Army veteran serving from 1968 to 1971.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Burton and Stanley Auringer.
Surviving: his wife of 29 years, Doris Auringer of Hannibal; step-children, Jim Baldwin of Deer River, Wanda Lacelle of Altmar and Teresa Cronk of Fulton; sisters, Lindsley Auringer of California and Lillian Simpson of Indiana; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Saturday 2 to 4 p.m. with a 4 p.m. Service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal. Spring Burial will be at Hannibal Village Cemetery.
