Raymond H. Bresee Jr., 75, of Oswego Road, Baldwinsville, passed away on Sunday Jan. 8, 2012.
He was born to his late parents, Winifred (Fear) and Raymond H. Bresee Sr. on Nov. 14, 1936.
He was a graduate of Baldwinsville Academy and Morrisville College.
Ray was a metallurgist for Rollway Bearing Co., Liverpool, and later was a tech in the quality control department for Anheuser-Busch Co., Lysander.
Raymond was a member of the Syracuse Bowling Congress. He bowled a perfect 300 game once.
A longtime golfer, Ray, played in leagues at Ironwood and Seneca Golf clubs. He was a social member at the American Legion, Vernice Suttle Post 113, Baldwinsville.
Surving are his loving wife of 55 years, Judith A. (Holmes) Bresee; his four adult children, Kim (Gary) Zarnowski of Baldwinsville, Randy (Tammy) Bresee of Syracuse, Mark (Etta) Bresee of Fulton and Darryl (Shelly) Bresee of Lysander; two brothers, Robert (Joyce) Bresee of MO and Paul (Carol) of Baldwinsville; one sister, Helen Holmes Gillespie of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren, Danielle, Erin, Jennifer, Tabatha and James; five great-grandsons, Gabriel, Jacob, Dominic, Lincoln and Axel; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Susan Townsend officiating.
