Raymond H. Clark, 89

OSWEGO, NY – Raymond H. Clark, 89, a resident of Oswego passed away on Tuesday morning May 28, 2013, at the Rosewood Heights Medical Center in Syracuse.

Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Ralph and Emma (Voll) Clark and had attended Oswego schools.

He was employed with the Ames Iron Works and later retired from Northern Steel.

Mr. Clark was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the European Theatre during World War II.

He was an avid bike rider.

He was well known for riding his bike throughout the Oswego area until his early 80s.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, the former Nadine Nihoff; three children, Barbara (Frank) Brosch, William Clark and Thomas (Valesca) Clark all of Oswego; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

There are no calling hours.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Arrangements are in care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
