At a recent Fulton Rotary Club meeting, the Club presented a $500.00 Scholarship to Chris Ellis.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Chris is a June graduate from G. Ray Bodley High School and is attending “The Ohio State University” in the Fall to study aviation.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â In the above photo, Ellis, left, is presented the scholarship by Fulton Superintendent of Schools and Rotarian William Lynch.
Nancy Kush Ellis introduced Zach Zagger and Adam Groesbeck from the New York State Attorney GeneralÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s office at a recent Fulton Rotary Club meeting.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Zach and Adam talked about child internet safety. They discussed the importance of setting rules and guidelines for children using the internet and cell phones.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â They also encouraged communication between children and parents or trusted adults.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Only 12% of youth who encounter a sexual solicitation on the internet told a parent.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Additionally they shared some resources for parents such as: www.oag.state.ny.us, www.NetSmartz.org, and www.IKeepSafe.org.
