OSWEGO, NY – The American Red Cross is looking for community members who are willing, able and would like to train to become Red Cross instructors.
This is one of the most challenging yet satisfying volunteer positions with the American Red Cross.
As a Red Cross trainer you will be certified to teach First Aid, CPR/AED Adult, Child and Infant and other Red Cross health and safety and preparedness programs.
Flexible class schedules are available and most anyone will be able to find classes that meet their scheduling needs.
The Instructor Class is a three-day class with the next one beginning on Sept. 6 and continuing for the next two consecutive Saturdays.
Participants must attend all three dates to fulfill requirements and receive their certification to teach.
Instructor Trainer classes are held at the Oswego Branch Office at 333 W. First St.
