More than 75 individuals supported Oswego Health’s cancer outreach and educational programs by taking part in the seventh annual Oswego Health Charity Walk/Run held May 19 at the Seneca Hill Health Community.
The event also benefited the Fulton and Oswego YMCAs.
Placing first in the women’s 5K run event was Beth Foederer, with a time of 21:45.
She has won this event every year since it was first held seven years ago.
Placing second was Kelly Storms, with a time of 22:09 and third was Debbie Smith, with a time of 23:21. Smith also collected the highest number of pledges.
Winning the men’s 5K run event was Alberto Gomez, with a time of 19:50.
Second was Ed Lindo, who ran the event in 20:08 and placing third was Robert Hass. His time was 20:18.
Participants could also walk the 5K route, or take part in a 1.5 mile walk or run.
