Richard C. Treasure Sr., 85

OSWEGO, NY – Richard C. Treasure Sr., 85, a resident of 4 Kennedy Ave., Oswego, passed away Sunday December 2, 2012, at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Syracuse.

Mr. Treasure was born Ossining, NY.

He was the son of the late Arthur and Ella (Allen) Treasure.

He had lived in Oswego County for many years.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Navy.

He was an active member of the American Legion Post 268 and the VFW Post 5885.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed at the Nestlé’s Corp. in Fulton.

He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Oswego.

He is survived by six children; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara; and his loving companion, Amber.

Funeral services will be private.

Calling hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.

Following calling hours, friends are invited to a reception at the American Legion Post 268 in Oswego.
