FULTON, NY – Richard T. “Rick” Kellar Jr., 50, of Fulton, passed away at home on Saturday May 4, 2013, surrounded by his family.
He was born August 23, 1962, in Oklahoma City and resided in Fulton since 1991.
Rick was a cook for many years at several local restaurants including the Hannibal Hotel, the Oswego Diner and the Jordan Diner.
He loved to go fishing, build things and spend time with his family, especially during holidays.
Rick was predeceased by his father, Richard Kellar Sr., who died January 13, 1995; and by a sister, Shirley Young.
He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia “Patti” Phelps Kellar; four children, Trisha, Angel, Richard III and Devin Kellar all of Fulton; his mother, Brenda Cincotti of Ocala, Fla.; two sisters, Jackie Hyder and Tammy Dean both of Fulton; two brothers, James O’Neill and Jack O’Neill both of Fulton; two grandchildren, Myleah and Ayden Kellar; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
